World Medical Mission, the medical arm of Samaritan’s Purse, sends physicians to Kapsowar Hospital to serve on short-term assignments. The hospital has also become a proving ground for physicians in our Post-Residency Program, which places doctors in mission hospitals for two years as the first step in a career in medical missions.

Dr. Kyle Jones, has served at Kapsowar through the Post-Residency Program. Dr. Jones and his family having completed their two-year assignment and is taking steps to return and serve as full-time missionaries.

“They are the next generation in medical missions,” Dr. Rhodes said. “The work will fall to them, on their shoulders, and I think the work will be in very capable hands.”
