This is Part Five (of five) of my 1991 video, "Risk = Hazard + Outrage: A Formula for Effective Risk Communication." In January 2012 the American Industrial Hygiene Association stopped selling the video, and the rights reverted to me, enabling me to put it on Vimeo.
Part Five finishes the discussion of responsive process versus unresponsive process, the last of my 12 principal outrage components. Then it briefly addresses eight additional outrage components. Finally, I draw some conclusions about risk communication in low-hazard, high-outrage controversies.
