Just had a sunny summer session at what is surely the most beautiful speed course in the World?
Full value weekend :) Left home at 04.30 to pick up my buddy Dave at 5am for a morning wave session in Magheroarty on 4.5 sails in smallish swell.
Then as tide dropped, we nipped round to Bunbeg speed course (joined by Gildas) to test the new Neil Pryde EvoXI (my new Luderitz sail), and had a nuking speed session on 5.2.... It was square wind and I didn't have enough lead, but still managed 45.7knots.
Then back again to Maghers where it was now packed, and the swell and wind had increased - so went back out on 3.3s and got a few decent waves on the reef - before heading home for 11pm.
Sunday was a more relaxed foiling session in Dublin on, full power on 4.0 (crashing back loops)... The estuary was packed... windy and sunny - happy faces all round.
Body officially tired now :) Happy Daze...
