Denver funk/jazz/pop band Petals of Spain has a new music video to accompany their catchy single "Lady Luck".
The "Lady Luck" music video was produced by a three member team from the College of Arts and Media at the University of Colorado at Denver:
Alison Colby, GwenAnn Hua, and Patty Toner.
I (Alison Colby) created the concept and the storyboards, and contributed to filming, editing, and postproduction.
The "Lady Luck" music video casts the band members in distinct character-driven roles in a poker game allegory of the seven deadly sins. The four minute storyline blurs the boundary between reality and fantasy as each of the characters indulges himself in lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, envy, pride, and wrath.
The entire video was shot on location at Hotel Boulderado and the Catacombs bar in Boulder, Colorado.
The "Lady Luck" single is available for purchase on iTunes:
