"Say my name, say my name"
An Artificial Intelligence as Role Model of New Identity Politics
In the mid-1980s, Donna Haraway predicted that cyborgs as hybrid beings would overcome sexism and racism. Today we see that Siri and Alexa, as artificial everyday assistants, are still being ordered to "care work", while their male counterparts are being used in medicine and finance. Time for a reboot: An artificial intelligence as the evening's choreographer takes the reins - and racism and Ableism in contemporary dance by the collar!
