We hope you enjoy this excerpt from our newest production, "A Fantasia for Clouds."

We have spent 5 years shooting skyscapes in Colorado and around the western US using a variety of cameras (HVX-200, Phantom v 7.1, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Nikon D700, etc., and edited using FCP and Premier Pro 5.5).

This section, Part 5, is the grand finale, set to Beethoven's 9th (in a wonderful recording by the Philharmonia Baroque, licensed from Magnatune.com).

In addition to Bob and Walt here at WeatherVideoHD.TV, we wish to thank collaborators Tom Warner (ZT Research), Hans Neilsen, Takuji Nakamura and Tim Samaras.

All clips copyrighted by Sky Fire Productions, Inc., dba WeatherVideoHD.TV. And we love to share. Visit our site and feel free to download comps for your next production.

"A Fantasia for Clouds" was selected as a winner in the 32nd Annual Telly Awards competition. Our goal is to portray the majesty and poetry of the sky set to the world's greatest music. We hope earth science educators will use this video as part of their classroom experience to inspire students to look up and experience the theater of the sky. We are meteorologists and educators first, and have turned to video as a way to enhance informal science education.

The DVD may be found at Sky-Fire.TV. All clips may be licensed at WeatherVideoHD.TV using online royalty free licensing.
