November 19-21. The third (and last) leg of our über-excursion. Highlights from Stacy, Marla, and my trip to Bruge, The Hague, Munich. It was marvelous. We were diverted away from our goal of Andorra after we left Barcelona. We were stuck at a train station on the Spain/France border at 6pm getting ready to hop a bus to Andorra when we found out that there was no bus (as it had stated in the Thomas Cook guidebook) until noon the next day! This meant that we would need to book it to Paris and head on to Bruge. There we not only ran into the Fletchers, but (once again) to Lanie, Jimmieanne, Tandy, and Christine. Amazing how you can run into a bunch of people like that when you have the run of a whole continent! I confess a personal super-tourist nervous breakdown in (of all places), The Hague. I was talked into diverting there by my folks who had this "must see" called Madurodam (Google it). I can probably attest that I was the only one (note the abandonment by my fellow travelers!) who went there as we were short on time. I RAN through the whole thing and shot footage (much of it dark) as I went. I ran all the way back to the train station just in time to meet the girls and move on to Munich! It is amazing, but very touristy. If you want to see it in the light, now YouTube has hours and hours of time-wasting footage online! youtube.com/watch?v=K_vryIrat7g
