by Khalil Charif, 2012
An investigation about the possibilities of poetic discourse having the artist's body as an agent, in situations of angular strangeness.
The video features visually fragments the head (of the artist) in six different angular situations: neck / throat / mouth / forehead / chin / tongue, all closed- plan, creating a visual silent discourse. "Speeches" is an ongoing investigation, where the artist has been exploring - through performances- possibilities of speech, intertwining fragmentation of identity, uniqueness and strangeness, as lines of research.
