In 2006 I spent five days in Death Valley with my PV GS400 filming many of the best-known (and some less well-known) places in the national park. Some of these places included Badwater Basin, Zabriskie Point, Fan Canyon, Mosaic Canyon, Stovepipe Wells Dunes, The Racetrack, Dante's View, and many other parts of the park which you may or may not recognize.

I also took along my audio recorder, which at the time was a Sony MiniDisc MZ-NH900 which I used to record a bunch of lossless PCM tracks. All of the audio in this short is my own except for one faint song which I didn't record. In addition to the audio that was recorded at Death Valley, I overlaid audio from recordings I made in the past and some recorded later for this video including sounds of a flash flood in mill creek in 2005, snippets of a recording from a comedy club, the sounds of a hawaiian aviary, etc.

Enjoy.
