This is the first in a series of five videos showing footage of my final year project at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Our project focused on addressing some of the advantages, opportunities, and challenges inherent in Microsoft's Kinect platform. Our development tools included the Unreal Development Kit (UDK), the OpenNI framework, and the NIUI wrapper for integrating Kinect with UDK.
This particular prototype explored the idea of a more interactive and immersive user interface by incorporating natural movement into a themed menu system.
