This is the last in a series of five videos showing footage of my final year project at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Our project focused on addressing some of the advantages, opportunities, and challenges inherent in Microsoft's Kinect platform. Our development tools included the Unreal Development Kit (UDK), the OpenNI framework, and the NIUI wrapper for integrating Kinect with UDK.
This prototype took one of the most popular and intuitive control schemes from the "Carrot on a Stick" prototype and extended it to create a simple racing game.
