This panel aims to interrogate the role of installations in the academic setting as a tool for learning, construction, and challenging the character of practice and its alteration to the understanding of pedagogy. Acknowledging and embracing that there are aspects of architecture that cannot be fully expressed, explored, or known when left on paper, installations as a tool within an academic setting alter the provided constraints, and in turn the resultants, from that which is simply left on the boards in the design studio.
