I don't normally do these types of films, but I had a heap of new kit that I needed to test out before a couple of upcoming shoots and the Chinese New Year celebrations in London seemed like an ideal event to give everything a run out.
All shots were hand held with the occasional use of a supporting structure like a wheelie bin or lamp post! I've done very little with the images in post other than to use a MB Looks warm emulsion for the entire film. A couple of clips at the beginning have also been partially or entirely desaturated.
I needed to know how workable the Sony FS100 was with the 18-200 kit lens in a run and gun type situation, so probably 85% of the shots are with this combination. I also needed to know how easily I could cut in 7D footage with the FS100 footage, so some of the shots were from a combination of:
Zacuto Z Finder
Samyang 35mm 1.4 (new)
Samyang 8mm 3.5 Fisheye (new)
Canon EF 50mm 1.8 (Plastic Fantastic)
Canon EF-S 18-135 IS 3.5-5.6
The FS100 shots were a mixture of 1080p25 50fps and 1080p50 conformed to 25p in post. All 7D footage was 720p50 conformed to 25p.
