CLASS / being together + working together / Contemporary Techniques
/a highly imaginative, highly physical investigation of ourselves as movers. Together we cultivate a safe space for building community, imagination, risk and rigor by embracing kindness, inclusivity and learning. We work from the body we bring each day, and we are invited to call upon all the techniques and herstories/theystories/histories that we hold. Class begins with a sensation-based collage of improvisation and set material. We nurture our techniques and curiosities through floor, standing and across the floor sequences and tasks. Class culminates with a phrase that calls upon desires we have found together, while also challenging us physically and creatively/
