In our fast-paced and stressful society, getting overwhelmed is easy. Bloom is tailored as a biofeedback-based tool that encourages the growth of self-awareness and that alleviates stress symptoms. A therapist follows this VR experience and guides the patient through a set of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic stimulation modes. The project will be developed into a study at the Clinique romande de réadaptation (CRR) at the hospital of Sion, in the canton of Valais, in order to test the relevance and efficiency of Bloom in the treatment of stress, anxiety and chronic pain management.
