How three makeup wearing gay guys taught their village some manners.
It is hard to imagine that in a remote village steeped in Catholicism and traditional Mexican values a gay person can be living out openly. Much less three very flamboyant makeup wearing young gay men. It is even harder to imagine that they would be accepted and even protected by that community. This is the story of Chente, Chui and Freddy aka Los Trikis*, born and bread in San Miguel de Hidalgo (population 500), Jalisco, Mexico.
