It was a an early and cold-as-hell morning on top of Bernal Hill in San Francisco. We arrived about 30 minutes before sunrise to lug up all of our gear and bikes, as well as set up the camera for the shoot. We pitched the tent then huddled in after setting the intervalometer connected to the camera. As we stepped out of the tent we attempted a mock morning routine done during a bike tour, all along jumping and running in place to warm up. We were fresh off a juice fast so it was such a treat to eat fruit and walnuts as the sun rose beautifully over the city. Bernal is one of the most scenic spots we know of, with amazing views of the Mission, SOMA, Downtown and sweeping all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge past the Bay Bridge and to all points in the East and South Bay. The sun flair over the Oakland Hills was a special highlight, frozen as we were. Enjoy and look out for a more polished version soon, as well as being featured in our Pedal Inn Kickstarter video to debut at the end of the month.
