Often, current prosthetics do not provide the flexibility and functionality needed for day-to-day activities. Watch as Siddhartha Sikdar, a professor in the Department of Bioengineering and director of the Center for Adaptive Systems of Brain-Body Interactions, and his team display their newest technology, funded by the NSF: an ultrasound-guided prosthetic hand to allow for more robust, intuitive, and dexterous control.
