The Jacquard weaving of the Cabinet shield was made on a Stäubli industrial loom at the Oriole Mill in Hendersonville, North Carolina. It has a natural cotton warp and a colored silk weft. The main weave structure is a four pick, and it mimics the color overlay that tapestry weaving uses.
