Ricardo Rodriguez presents unfamiliar images created with a medium that is mostly associated to represent the known. Rodriguez creates shadow images captured directly on photosensitive paper without cameras or negatives. Rodriguez investigates photography's nature and tries to define his own experience. As his undisclosed photographs identity is an idea that is hard to define because of its constant transformation. This can be even more emphasized for a person that struggles between two cultures as Rodriguez. This work invites a dialog about how reality and identity is perceived and how we construct it.
