An abstract visual journey of displacement and Diaspora. One wouldhope that there is a place for an immigrant to settle in peace without being punished. A settler’s dream is to create a new tradition, whichis always connected to the roots and it has to happen in the new landscape. Transformation takes place in the spiritual paradise… pure
and torturing. New things and old things are both very desperate anddemanding. Tatsu Aoki’s new digital movie “Ah Sou Desuka” is anexperimental visual journey of CHANCES and CHANCES of transformation.
The work will be presented with live music and soundscape.
