The documentary "Mashi trasi que trasi", directed by Edu Alter was a coprodution between Siroco and Pallasos en Rebeldia. It was recorded in the palestinian territories in 2009, during a solidarity trip of "Pallasos en Rebeldia" (Clowns in Rebellione). This trip was the prelude of the project "Festiclown Palestina"
Festiclown Palestine- International Clown Festival in Palestine- took place from the 1st to the 15th of September 2011; it was a great circus and clown festival organised in Palestinian territories by the cultural and international cooperation association “Pallas@s en Rebeldía” (Clowns in Rebelion), with the cooperation of several local Palestinian organizations:
More than 30 artist from all over the world (Spain, Chile, USA, Italy…) with palestinians groups were performing around the palestinian territories: Famous clowns as Patch Adams and Leo Bassi joint this great festival!
Pallasos en Rebeldía, through this festival would like to underline the therapeutic role of clown and to promote the communal participation of gender and peace.
Festiclown Palestine took place in the streets of Jerusalem and the West Bank, in refugee camps, hospitals, schools, theatres and in any place that can be filled with laughter…
