California's schools have been under assault from constant budget cuts. In this video LACES parents, students and teachers talk about the programs now on the chopping block.

These intervention programs help low-income children develop the academic skills that will help them be successful in high school and go on to college.

Without them, one of the highest performing schools in Los Angeles could lose the very programs that have contributed to it being consistently ranked as one of the best public high schools in the nation.
