In 2018 Luiza Moraes was a player on the Cal State Long Beach water polo team wondering why there were so many photographers covering the Big West Tournament in Orange County, Calif. Little did the native of Brazil know that 11 months later she would be one of the student photographers participating in the Sports Shooter Academy 17 workshop.
