Short Description: .A painted abstract mural with small kinetic components. The design represents the confluence of Pittsburgh’s three rivers--the "visual center" of the mural is the point where the rivers converge. The kinetic elements spread across the entire wall, symbolize the dynamic growth and movement of an ever-changing city. The motion of the spinners on the wall is derived from wind current. The spinners' surfaces are stainless steel and powder coated.
The prisms would be made from solid glass. The proposed lighting would be solar-powered.
