In this video, Julia’s mother recalls her experiences with her daughter’s cancer diagnosis and treatment. Devastated, heart-broken, crushed and numb, Julia’s mother had a difficult time dealing with her Lymphomatic Leukemia. The hardest part – seeing her daughter lose all her hair. A strong child and individual, Julia received treatment for two years and one month. The family had a rough time and their world was “turned upside down.” However, Julia is now in school and recalls that her favorite part about having cancer was “playing Uno and getting candy.”
