This clip shows a range of activities facilitated by Sarah Ashford Hart during her Teacher Training workshops on Theater-in-Education for English Language Teachers at the Centro Venezolano Americano in Caracas, Venezuela.

These participatory theater exercises offer a new, creative methodology for teaching English, using games as a fun way to build communication and self-confidence among students. The ‘teacher’ thus becomes the ‘facilitator’, whose role is to encourage the students to freely express themselves in English, as ‘participants’ in enjoyable, interactive activities, generating a collaborative, playful learning dynamic.
