Ugrizni roko, ki te »hrani«: družbeno-angažirana dela v preteklosti, sedanjosti in prihodnosti Mesta žensk

osborn&møller Kristina Leko Katja Praznik

Pogovor s Kristino Leko in Katjo Praznik

// v angleščini //

Od leta 2017 osborn&møller raziskujeta Mesto žensk in premišljujeta o njegovem značilnem pristopu k feminističnemu kuriranju ter načinih, na katere se slednje ujema z njunim lastnim kuratorskim sodelovanjem. Leto 2019 zaznamuje vrhunec njunega dela, saj osborn&møller ob 25. obletnici festivala kurirata sklop dogodkov.

Ti vključujejo samostojno razstavo in rezidenco umetnice Alicje Rogalske (Galerija ŠKUC in Švicarija), spletno razstavo Pogled nazaj za pogled naprej arhivskega gradiva Mesta žensk v Mrežnem muzeju (MG+MSUM) in pogovor s Kristino Leko in Katjo Praznik o različnih vidikih angažirane umetnosti in pogojih za njeno ustvarjanje.

Conversation with Kristina Leko in Katja Praznik

// vin English //

Since 2017, osborn&møller have been researching and reflecting on City of Women’s distinctive approach to feminist curating, and the ways in which this resonates with their own curatorial collaboration. The year 2019 marks the culmination of this work, as osborn&møller curate a programme for the 25th anniversary edition.

This includes a solo exhibition and residency by artist Alicja Rogalska (ŠKUC Gallery and Švicarija), an online exhibition Looking Back to Look Forward of the City of Women archival material on the Web Museum (MG+MSUM) and a conversation with Kristina Leko and Katja Praznik about different aspects of socially engaged art and the working conditions of artists who create it.
