Ondřej Smeykal is a musician and an audiovisual artist, living and working in Prague. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 2003. Aside from creating and designing sound installations, he also plays the didgeridoo, exploring its sonic possibilities. He collaborated with many visual artists and musicians as Petr Nikl, Ian Wood, Pavel Richter, Monika Načeva, etc. He visited New Arnhem and spend almost one year in Australia to understand the culture of Aborigines. Recently, to the didgeridoo - elements of air and wood, he has added the sounds of metal from orphic instruments and gongs.
