This is still the first 800lber of the day. This guy came in relatively easy - an hour battle - but does not fit through the fish door, so we use block and tackle strung up to the tuna tower to haul this beauty aboard. When doing so, the crew needs to take care to not bruise the fish - the Japanese like perfect fish for their sushi.
The second fish of the day was just a bit smaller - skinnier? He made it through the fish door. Good thing, because we were hauling him aboard at 9pm at night.
Tuna Hunter did a wheelie all the way home, with two 800lbers in the cockpit. Trim tabs can only do so much!
