Back out at the magic hour with the T3i. Getting some footage around the harbor. We really had to crank up the iso to 6400 as it got darker. You hear a lot about the rule of thirds, but we also try to do the rule of thirds in terms of depth, trying when we can to get fore, middle, and back grounds. The second scene is deliberately framed that way. On the very last scene, we used a tungsten filter on a 160 watt LED to illuminate the anchor post and side of the ship. You can see the light reflecting on the anchor post. On a side note, very little is actually made or grown in Hawaii and over 90% of everything is imported. This keeps Matson, the shipping company, busy!
