The 2012 Celebration of the life and ministry of Absalom Jones and Richard Allen in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri featured Ernest "Rip" Patton sharing his experience as a Freedom Rider, and launched a new resource for diocesan congregations to use to explore their parish complicity in institutional racism.
