Bruce Warburton, gives insight into the approaches taken to managing invasive species in New Zealand. Bruce works at Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research as a vertebrate pest biologist and team leader of the Wildlife, Ecology and management team. His research has focused on developing cost-effective aerial- and ground-based strategies and tools for managing possums, rats, stoats, ferrets, rabbits, and wallabies. He has a particular interest in animal welfare and ethics.
