I shot this during a road trip on the US West Coast. It features beautiful landscapes from Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, the Yuha Desert and San Diego. When I was in transit, it felt like I had an eternity ahead of me. As soon as I finished, the whole experience was just a fleeting memory. I hope you enjoy what I saw in this little microsleep.
Drop some acid while you're at it.
All footage was shot on a Canon 7D. Timelapses were created with stills taken at timed intervals. This is my first batch of attempts at timelapses, and still need to school up my technique. But it taught me several things: patience; how to pack a bag with enough food to munch on and books to read; or how to stash your camera somewhere it won't be disturbed so you can go off and do your own thing :)
I threw in some Riders On The Storm by The Doors (and a little bite of Elvis' Viva Las Vegas).
