Zum neunten Mal werden mit dem europaweit einzigartigen Filmpreis GROSSE KLAPPE während des doxs! Filmfestivals Produktionen ausgezeichnet, die in besonderem Maße die ästhetische und politische Auseinandersetzung mit Dokumentarfilm fördern. Zur Teilnahme eingeladen sind dokumentarische Produktionen aus Deutschland und Europa, die mit Fantasie und Intelligenz die Lebenswelt von jungen Menschen aufgreifen und adressieren. Acht Filme des Programms sind nominiert. Der Preis ist mit 5.000 Euro für die Regieleistung dotiert und wird auf dem doxs! Festival in Duisburg übergeben (4.-10. November 2019).
‘GROSSE KLAPPE’ awards European films promoting an aesthetical approach to documentary culture and the political consciousness of children and adolescents. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of doxs! in 2011 the Federal Agency for Civic Education endowed for the first time the Prize for Political Documentary for Children and Youth. In 2019, eight productions are nominated. The next award to the amount of 5.000 Euro will be handed over at the 18th doxs! festival during the 43rd edition of the Duisburger Filmwoche (November 4-10, 2019).
