Some years ago I got into primitive bladesmithing.
No powertools, no grinders, no electricity.
After using my home made coal forge and making my own charcoal to fuel it, the only "luxury" I offerd my self was my home-made gas forge. It is so much cleaner and faster...even though it's a little less "primitive". Everytime I forge a knife I learn lots of things and I guess I will never stop learning.
This knife (even though it is undestructible) came out really ugly because I was more concentrated on filming than on blade design. This little film is just to show the beauty of the process of bladesmithing, that has become to me some kind of meditation....thanks for watching.
The music is from the exellent soundtrack of the movie"The assassination of Jesse James", Nick Cave and Curtis Eller.
