Honey Care works with many partners and has joint initiatives with international development agencies, the Kenyan government, NGOs and charitable foundations, and micro-enterprise programs. It is involved with a number of other initiatives and individuals and also promotes beekeeping among self-help groups and hobbyists. Its employees spend much of their time in the field, conducting demonstrations and assisting local communities and individual farmers to set up this sustainable beekeeping activity to improve their livelihoods. Honey Care has set up many demonstration facilities to be closer to farmers and thereby reduce the cost of training.
