Was my cliff flying debut :-) [and since then I only had one or two more :-( ].
One of the very rare locations at Sylt where it was possible to launch the ship without violating nature/coastal protection restrictions.
What a pitty to have several good spots that cannot used because of law restrictions.
But nature protection restrictions have to be accepted from my point of view to save our hobby in general...
It surprise me again that I more often remember these unspectacular slope sessions with mostly very simple planes than outperformer flights with much better equipment...
Most pleasure for me is flying quite close to me and and the edge and not hundreds of meters away in thermals.
That's the reason why I sold most of my "better" thermal related gliders end of 2011 and already ordered two woody planks in exchange which can be circled in very low hight perfectly.
Back to my own beginning: fly low and slow at the flatlands, (and since 2010) fly low and fast at the slope ;-).
