Every year since 1986 Woking District Scouts have organised a weekend camp at Woodlarks Campsite, near Farnham, to give young people with Special Needs from the Woking area a chance to try typical scouting activities.
Activities are spread across the weekend that are designed to help build confidence, give new experiences and help personal development. On the banks of the River Wey, there’s a chance to experience kayaking in a safe and controlled environment.
With around 200 people on site and activities to organise, the cost of the weekend is around £10,000.
Your support will help Handycamp provide these unique experiences to young people of all abilities for years to come.
