A glimpse into the subculture of gaming, Simulation deals with the ambiguous boundaries between the real and the virtual in the best-selling computer game of all time: The Sims. In an attempt to approach the subject on its own terms, this piece plays with traditional modes of filmmaking immersing the audience in the experience of an alternative reality. The compelling complex Corrie, a committed longtime Sims gamer, plays herself in this short experimental piece giving honest, considered and occasionally bizarre insight into her addictive subculture.
