Produced as part of the Animation course in the Motion Design Department at Ringling College of Art and Design.
This is a fully audio-driven piece produced for the Sarasota Film Festival to use in their 2012 edition opening night. The client wanted to have an animation based of the voices of people form Sarasota and me and my co-producer Yahira Hernández took this in a very experimental direction. I did the concept and the audio, and it was an amazing experience because I had never edited audio before. Then Yahira joined me for the animation production and we had so much fun together! We used a wide variety of techniques going from stop motion animation, live footage and computer animation.
N.B. The twelve second of black in the end were requested by the client to place credits as they needed.
