The Theatre Design department at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama took part in the 2011 Prague Quadrennial with their puppet led performance of Black Sail, White Sail, an adapted story from the greek myth of Thesius. I was lucky enough to be able to travel with them to Prague and document their performance and rehearsals.

The rehearsals took place in the scenic parks that lie around the outskirts of the city centre. The performance was set in Jungmann Square in the centre of Prague, a very busy area that provided the street performance the attention it deserved.

All the puppets were created and controlled by the designers with help from two college actors to voice the characters.

Music: Vesuvius - Sufjan Stevens.
