The war correspondent Jack Lieb was sent to England in 1944 by the American agency News of the Day to report on the planned landing of Allied troops in Normandy. He used his private 16mm film camera to shoot additional color film material in addition to the news images. This second part of the footage shows pictures of the Normandy landing in June 1944. The commentary text is spoken by Jack Lieb. He edited his material for a screening in the 1960s.
