A science inquiry based video story problem. I woke up on Saturday, February 11th to more than 13 inches of snow covering the ground. The night before there wasn't even half an inch! I live right near the Lake Michigan shoreline, so I thought this might make an interesting way to introduce the concept of "lake effect" snow by asking students if they know what could produce such localized weather patterns.
