Jasmine Pocock, mother of seven and consumer advocate, offers Canada's national television audience advice concerning the creativity and safety of children and their toys offered during the 1969 winter holiday shopping season. Mrs. Pocock was at the time chairperson of the Canadian Toy Testing Council. The toys she reviews range from the artistic, to early computer-learning and fine motor coordination aids, looking at their originality, durability, age-range appeal and childhood development values.
