We started the business 7 years ago out of a love of coffee and gifts and now we have coffee, gifts, home décor, and clothing.
I think they’re surprised because our name is Festive Cup Coffee so I don’t think they expect such a variety in a coffee shop.
The great thing about the store is if you find a gift in here, the recipient of that gift has likely never seen it before. We have boutique in our name, but it’s not boutique prices. It’s just having the quality of gift that you don’t find at the chain stores.
We have a new line which is called Warmies. They’re stuffed animals that actually have flax seed and lavender in them. You warm them up in a microwave, and they’ve been a big hit from little children to adults.
One thing that’s really a big hit during the holidays is pajamas, believe it or not. And we have a line of pajamas called LAZY ONE that are perfect for kids, for adults, when you want to put those pajamas on and have a family celebration.
We get a small run of clothing. You can be pretty sure that when you come in here, that it is so unique that you are not going to find it anyplace else-- clothing that is really fashionable but really affordable.
When we started we had on our marketing materials, relax, linger, and enjoy, and that’s really what we want to create here—a place where you can come in, get a cup of coffee, you can do some shopping, you can relax, stay as long as you want, and just enjoy the experience.
(Cyle Feingold) the coffee is great, the atmosphere is amazing, and all the things we buy here are to place in my bathroom.
(Katherine Rogers)… a good cup of coffee, good cup of tea, and some great shopping with your friends. You get a full experience in one trip.
We’ve partnered with an organization called Courageous Faces and we’re going to donate proceeds from sales that day to their organization, and we partnered with them basically because we thought they had a charity we’ve never heard of before, and something where there was really a need in the market, it seemed to us. And we wanted to get involved with it.
So make sure you stop by December 11th, 2019, for a good cup of coffee, holiday shopping to please those hard-to-please people on your list, and help Courageous Faces Foundation.
