Ed Carriere and Melinda West collaborate to maintain and further the weaving tradition of the Suquamish people of Puget Sound. They asked Katie to join them to make a video about weaving a Clam Basket. Katie assembled a team of aspiring filmmakers to produce this short teaching piece on a shoestring budget.
Katie's comfortable, encouraging manner with others allows her to get close to her subjects in a natural way. Her mode of operation for directing, producing, and coordinating with teams of media professionals, is to lead by example. Dedication to a project, openness to input, respect for everyone involved, and commitment to a timeline, are the trademarks of a Katie Jennings’ production.
Every step along the way has filled us with more gratitude for Katie. What she has given and done for us is more than we could ever hope for.
