The University of Twente (UT) is getting a new facility where research and education in the field of cardiology, oncology and neurology will be combined with outpatient treatment. The 3,500m2 facility is part of the Center for Medical Imaging North East Netherlands (CMINEN) and boasts the latest technology in the field of medical imaging. The facility will be located in the Langezijds Building, which is to be transformed into The Gallery, a business complex meant to bridge the gap between science and industry. The facility is expected to be completed at the end of 2012 or early 2013.
