We shot 'Anamnesis' on wide angle lenses and in some cases, like in this video, we wanted to get as wide as possible. We thought the film should have a very loose, hand-held style without a lot of shakiness, and we noticed that Wong Kar-Wai was able to accomplish this in his New Wave noir 'Fallen Angels'. Ultimately the hand-held, wide angle look creates an unsettling atmosphere that helps to distort the subjective reality that the characters inhabit.
