Continuing to indulge an unspoken obsession with stigmata, the boys and girls of This Is Pathetic created this parody of then-ubiquitous Soloflex infomercials. Playing the Savior was a remarkably toned Adam Pierce (who also built the Cruciflex prop). Along as Apostles are Mike D'Alonzo, Steve Johnson, Mike Landry (in paisley undershorts), and Matthew Lavin. Tim Stepich and I are behind the camera and the mic.
This was the first sketch we exhibited as a troupe to earn us some deeply offended and disapproving complaint mail from an audience member. Nevertheless, the sketch later appeared on the action sports/extreme leisure website Charged.com, and as premium content on the early Atom.com.
